PROHIBITED PROOF
Dive into 1925 New York during prohibition and resolve a murder.

My end of study project "PROHIBITED PROOF" was realized using UNREAL ENGINE v4.26, in 4 months.
It is the result of the work of a group of 16 people composed of 7 Game Designers and 9 Game Artists.

We were two level designers in the group.
Our work started with reference searches.
So we could have a large range of references, I started watching movies (The Untouchables) and series (Peaky Blinders).
This way, I could have an idea about which type of construction was historically accurate, and which atmosphere we could be ruling for.
After having found some more references on internet, we started to make plans.
The other LD designed the port and the distillery while I worked on the factory, the bar and the offices.
Blockout
The level design is non-linear: Several paths have been imagined to give more freedom to the player. This way, he can access the different parts of the level in different ways.
The guards are all avoidable, so the player can avoid confrontation.
There are several entries and exit points: this is one of the major feature we had to work on for the level design.
